11 Dec Welcome
Time to reset! I’m resetting this year too. I’ve kind of reset my whole practice with a new focus….Technology. Yup, the T word! For some of us this is a no brainer, it comes very naturally. For me, health and wellness comes naturally, not technology. That being said, I changed my mindset and decided that this would be the best way to reach more people. I have to say, it’s a bit scary. I am exposing myself to tons of people and don’t get instant verbal/nonverbal feedback or sense of how I’m doing like I would in an office setting or while I’m teaching. Well regardless, I’m up for it!
What do you think you want to change this coming year? No resolutions please. We all know they don’t work. Pick something you have wanted to change and take baby steps to get there. That’s how I am doing it. My baby step was updating my website, which as I look back now was a giant step for me because I had to put my photo on it. The next step was blogging and here I am. This has always been scary to me. English being a second language, I am always concerned about the tenses I use. If you catch me, just let me know in the comments section, I’m very open to improving myself anyway I can.
Another baby step I am taking this year is an online component to my business. Yes, now you can access Eat 2 Perform Inc. from any computer, in any part of the world. It’s so exciting for me to be able to access and help more people with their health and wellness goals in the convenience of their own homes, while away to college, on a business trip or at a sporting event. You can find more information about this on my website.
Well, have you decided what you’ll work on this year? Regardless of what it is, remember to take baby steps, be patient with yourself and if you steer off, just redirect and if Eat 2 Perform can help in anyway, just let us know!
